Mallory Shymanski
Mallory is a native of Charleston with a wealth of industry experience.
As our Creative Director, she is the driving force behind Team Tresses and continuously strives to raise the bar higher.
Mallory’s name has come to represent the very finest in hair! With experience and influence
pooled from her previous work as a hair color educator with Tigi, and now as a National Platform Artist for Logics International teaching haircolor at shows and salons from Chicago to Atlanta. Mallory continuously updates her skills through advanced trainings with World Renown Artists such as Geno Levi and fashion magazine stylist Edward Teitel and by participating in various classes from Hawaii to New York. Mallory strives to provide clients with the highest standard of service in an environment that lacks pretense.
Whitney Miller, Salon Coordinator
Our Salon and Wedding Coordinator is a native of Knoxville, Tennessee.
She has a passion for life and truly enjoys helping people! She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Winthrop University. Her career has led her down many paths, as she has a background that includes interior design, wedding planning, makeup artistry, floral design, and corporate sales. Currently she is responsible for directing the day to day operation of Tresses as well as managing and coordinating all wedding services. She has fallen in love with the salon industry so much that she’s now an aspiring future professional at the Paul Mitchell Hair School in Charleston.
New Talent Team
Bree Corrao
Originally from New Jersey, she received her cosmetology license in Charleston, SC. She has worked diligently under the tutelage of Tresses Creative Director, to fine tune her skills and knowledge of Tresses hair coloring processes and gravitational cutting methods. She most recently completed an advanced cutting course under legendary hairdresser and creator of gravitational cutting Geno Levi. She has participated with team Tresses as a hair designer at Charleston Fashion Week. So it is no surprise that with all the hard work she has been putting in, the demand for her services is rapidly increasing.
New Colleagues
Brittany Kerce
Grew up in the Low Country and worked as a manager at Atlanta Bread Company all while attending cosmetology school full-time. She is currently working with the Creative Director of Tresses to master the art of gravitational haircutting and coloring. She has participated in advanced training in wedding style design and has worked at Charleston Fashion Week.
Marah Estrada
Hails from San Diego and brings a west coast flair to the salon. She splits her time between working at Tresses and being a Learning Leader at the Paul Mitchell School in Charleston. She is working with the Creative Director to perfect the gravitational cutting method and advance her skills in hair color. She has participated in advanced training in wedding style design and has completed many advanced classes through the Paul Mitchell School.
